The "Heart" Center, based in Novi Sad, Serbia, is a volunteer, non-governmental, non-profit organization dedicated to providing emotional support to persons in crisis and suicide prevention.

 

Every day, from 3pm to 11pm, volunteers at the Heart Center talk to people who are lonely, upset, hurt, sad, desperate, insecure and - listen to them. They do not hold their moral attachments, do not belittle their troubles, do not "comfort" them that their problems will pass and, most importantly, do not tell them what to do. Because they believe that every man himself knows best what is good for him. Because they believe that every man has the right to make his own life, even if he chooses to end it.

 

All information we receive from users is strictly confidential and remains within the scope of the Center. People who contact us may retain anonymity. The services of the Center are free of charge.
